Think outside the box...Unless you are a cat!
Today I encountered something I had never thought of before. You know how dogs are man's best friend? Apparently cats have a best friend too. Boxes. Ever since dad put the box in the garage, Shadow has never been seen out of it except when she's eating.
Oh, and I learned another thing too; Don't try and take away the box.

Struting with Purpose!
One thing rewarding about having chickens is they are exciting to watch. That may sound boring, but it is actually quite an enjoyable pass time. You see, when they walk it looks like they have gum stuck to there feet, which is very amusing to observe! When the chickens are outside they move very quick and sharp movements, because they don't always get to be outside their coop. All right, I think I have given you enough description, now you can see the pictures!
Charles is giving you the eye!

Jed: Crower extrordinaire
This video is kind of long and it takes a while to get to the crowing part. However, you can skip to 16 seconds and see the crowing part. It is very interesting.
Jed actually learned to crow from Richie. His previous owners said that Jed never crowed, and now he does it all the time. Apparently, Richie is a skilled teacher!

Lemony: Up close and personal
Here are a few cute photos of Lem, who has recently earned the nicname of Lemberton. I am not sure why, nor is anyone else. Lemony has grown a lot of white feathers on her face, which is a little odd, but it is not a sign of old age. At least I don't think it is. The chickens are almost"Over the hill" because chickens are supposed to live till five, and ours are turning three in April. That is the news, now enjoy the pictures!
