In all the new life we have experienced this week with the chicks, today we had to experience some death. Eagle Hawk-eye died today. I am not sure how, but I think she had the same sickness as Amelia.

awwwww...........I'm sorry Hannah. I know Eagle Hawk-Eye wasn't your favorite, but it is hard to lose a chicken all the same.

Haha, no, I don't want slavery or to secede. ;-) Mostly the title of my blog is a joke, because I have friends who have a blog titled "Yankees in the South" so I did the opposite.
